There is so little in our modern technological world that calls you to dream, to imagine, to travel in your mind… my paintings whisper mystical stories to your inner creative being, take your thoughts out of the ordinary into the realm of the imagination and transport you with vibrant color harmonies.  

When I began painting 40 years ago, I was living in France.  I specialized in detailed and realistic European street scenes.  I returned to Colorado in 1980 and found joy in painting the majestic landscapes of my native state … until 2000, when I was invited to exhibit at the biennial “Windows to the Divine” Exhibit.  At that moment, I was called to create something entirely new for this show and I began to source my work from the imagination rather than from the physical world.   

Over the last 20 years, I have created a large body of experimental and color-centric abstract paintings derived entirely from my imagination.  I have had two solo exhibitions in the last 10 years and have completed many significant commissioned works.  My paintings are in several public collections and many private collections. 

Although my work is likely classified as abstract, each painting contains amazing hidden images and story elements which will take you on a visual journey of your own.   My work is entirely unique and is not part of the latest art trend.  It is deep, profound and timeless.  These are paintings wrapped in joyful and etherial color… and each one carries its own secret and mystical stories inside which will create a pause in which you can dream and turn your imagination loose.
